Library & Community Center Project News

Everett Roehl has made an extremely generous donation in support of the project that will name the new library, the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library.  We are grateful for this support and the impetus that it lends to the project.  We are moving forward, quickly. We need your help to raise $4 million to build the new Marshfield Public Library and Community Center.

Your gift or pledge will help build connections among neighbors, friends and fellow Marshfield citizens – today and for generations to come.

The new Library and Community Center:

-- A new two-story Marshfield Public Library designed for the digital age, at the corner of South Maple Avenue and Veterans Parkway
-- The existing library building repurposed into a multi-generational Community Center
-- A light-filled enclosed entrance and lobby connecting both buildings and two parking lots
-- Easy access for pedestrians, motorists and cyclists,in the heart of Marshfield, Wisconsin

A public-private partnership:

The Building Connections Capital Campaign is for $4 million in private funds, to be added to $3 million the Marshfield Common Council committed in 2012, which will cover the costs of the $7 million project, slated to begin in 2016.
